1839, the University of Chichester has a long tradition of excellence in
providing education, training and research.
Based on two beautifully landscaped campuses (Bishop Otter Campus in
College Lane, Chichester and Upper Bognor Road in Bognor Regis) the
University offers its students a close-knit welcoming community and
University life they can feel part of. The University has over 5, 000
students enrolled with over 40% of the full time students coming from
all over the United Kingdom.
Most of the University's undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and
research) courses are offered full time and part time. On the majority
of our courses, you can study a module at a time to fit in with working
life.

Student Accommodation
University accommodation is guaranteed for students from the Channel
Islands, EU and overseas if they are studying on a full time course,
provided the deposit for the room has been paid by 1 August. The cost of
University accommodation in 2014 ranges from £70 per week to £115 per
week (depending on whether you share facilities and whether you have
catered (includes breakfast and dinner) or self-catered accommodation.
Homestay accommodation can be arranged for students if they would
prefer.
Fees
Tuition fees for full time degree courses for home and EU students for
2014 are £3, 000. Tuition fees for overseas students in 2014 range from
£6, 900 to £7, 650.
Overseas students will be required to pay a deposit of 25% towards their
tuition fees before they are provided with their final unconditional
offer letter.
Knowledge Exchange
As well as providing education opportunities, our Knowledge Exchange
programmes enable local business to work closely with our specialist
staff and researchers on many innovative and creative collaborative

Sport at Chichester
Chichester has a strong background in the provision of sport, recreation
and leisure. Over the past 18 months, the Sports Facilities at
Chichester have seen some major changes, the result being a superb array
of facilities available for all to use!

Bed & Breakfast and Conference Accommodation
The University has two beautifully landscaped campuses close to the town
centres of Chichester and Bognor Regis.
During the summer vacation months the University hires its accommodation
facilities to external clients for bed and breakfast, conferences and
summer schools.
Bishop Otter Campus is a perfect location to hold lectures, business
meetings and conferences. We have various sizes of lecture rooms and
meeting rooms, including a lecture theatre that can seat 200 people. In
2014 full board residential costs start from £54.88 +VAT and day
delegate rates from £18.61+VAT. Visit our website:

We currently have a total of 218 standard and ensuite single bedrooms on
the Chichester Campus (College Lane £ between the Chichester Festival
Theatre and St Richard's Hospital) and 160 ensuite single bedrooms on
the Bognor Regis Campus (Upper Bognor Road), which are available on a
bed and breakfast basis. All bedrooms have high-speed Internet
connections. For 2014, ensuite rooms cost £29.80 +VAT per person per
night and bedrooms with shared facilities (Chichester Campus only) cost
£23.02 + VAT.
Both campuses offer a range of different facilities, which include;
dance and music studios, a theatre-style showroom, chapel, assembly
hall, sports hall, lecture and meeting rooms and dining hall. The
Chichester Campus also has a bar. Non-residential lecture room rates
range from £9.60 to £28.75 (Assembly Hall) per hour for 2014.
