We offer cutting edge facilities and inspirational study environments including excellent Information Technology (IT) facilities, a conference and exams hall and an open access advice and guidance centre. Recent improvements include the building of a brand new exam hall to seat 185 people and the complete re-design of the Advice Centre.

The College of North East London (CONEL) is a large, fast-growing college of further and higher education in North London. The college is based on two main sites in Tottenham and a joint centre at the Enfield Campus of Middlesex University. CONEL delivers a wide range of courses to approximately 14,000 learners every year.

 

Courses cater for everyone from school leavers to professionals who want to brush up on their skills. The college runs a wide range of subjects that are taught during the daytime, evening and weekends. Many of the specialist departments within the college have received awards for their expertise. The Construction area is a recognised Centre of Excellence for plumbing and gas. Other well-established departments include Hair and Beauty, Business, Sports, Care and Health, Media, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) and Art and Humanities.

 

The college has first-class facilities for all learners including: twelve learning resource bases equipped with an average of fifteen networked PCs; the Centenary Learning Centre which includes the main college library and a Learndirect centre: an in-house hair and beauty salon named The Style Zone; a drama and sports halls; sound, video-editing and multimedia rooms; carpentry, gas and plumbing workshops; the newly refurbished Pavilion Restaurant and an on-site shop.


The College of North East London’s main campus is on the High Road, Tottenham. The nearest underground station is Seven Sisters (on the Victoria line), while the nearest British Rail stations are located at Seven Sisters, Tottenham Hale, Bruce Grove and South Tottenham. Main bus routes include W4, 41, 73, 76, 123, 149, 230, 259, 279, 318 and 341.

Additional sites are the Tottenham Green Centre, Town Hall Approach Road, N15 4RX and Joint Centre for Health, Care and Housing at the Enfield Campus of Middlesex University, Room R60, Enfield Campus, Queensway, Enfield, Middlesex EN3 4SF and The Heron, Heron House, Hale Wharf, Ferry Lane, Tottenham, N17 9NF.
