The School of Management and Finance is one of the United Kingdom's leading management schools. It is located in a beautiful parkland campus two miles from the centre of Nottingham, the commercial and cultural capital of the East Midlands. The School has high quality purpose-designed facilities and was rated as "excellent" in teaching by the HEFCE in 1994. The main MBAs of the School are AMBA accredited, and the MBA programmes were particularly praised in the HEFCE visit. It also has very good links with industry and commerce.

TAUGHT POSTGRADUATE COURSES

The School is one of the largest providers of taught MBAs in the United Kingdom and offers varied programmes with flexible attendance patterns and a wide range of elective subjects. Students on full time programmes have the opportunity to undertake practical consultancy projects for companies. Programmes offered include: 

• General MBA full time and part time 

• Financial MBAful1 time and part time

• International MBA full time

• Modular MBA part time, by intensive one-week blocks

• Executive MBA, part time in conjunction with companies

• Public Services MBAs in Education, Health Management, Criminal Justice, Voluntary Sector Management and Local Government, part time

• Various full time MAs in management subjects

• Research opportunities at MPhil/PhD or DBA levels are offered in most areas of
  management.

Entry Requirements for MBA's

A good first degree or equivalent professional qualification. Normally three years' work experience. English Language competence, eg TOEFL of 600+
