Why come to TVU London?

London is one of the world's most exciting, historic, artistic and vibrant cities. Living and studying in London will enable you to gain much more than a qualification. You will be part of a truly great city. You'll broaden your experience of life and not only acquire knowledge and practical skills but also widen your horizons and experience the joys of a city rich in history and culture.

Why London?

London has a population of eight million and is the cultural and political heart of the United Kingdom. It is a truly cosmopolitan city which combines 2, 000 years of history with a modern outlook, making it one of the world's most exciting cities in which to live and study. Its wealth of features attracts thousands of students from all around the world.

History and tradition

London is full of historic buildings and world famous landmarks; the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and St Paul's Cathedral. Studying in London will give you access to tradition and history going back thousands of years.

Culture

It would be difficult to find a more culturally diverse city. People from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds live and work in the city. The cultural diversity can be seen in the 7, 000 restaurants across the city catering for all tastes and bringing together food from over 60 countries. Modern living is on display in the many London shops that boast the latest in designer fashions and the magical mix of a city so rich in ethnicity and culture can also be seen in the famous street markets of Covent Garden, Camden and Portobello Road. London also boasts an impressive number of art galleries and museums that showcase treasures, not only from Britain, but from around the world.

Entertainment

Theatre life in Britain is unrivalled elsewhere in United Kingdom and possibly Europe. International venues such the Royal Albert Hall play host to a variety of concerts and international celebrities. The music on offer ranges from rock, pop and jazz to classical and grand opera. London has a healthy bar and nightclub circuit, in styles that once again reflect the great diversity of the capital's population. There is something to suit all tastes.

Financial centre

London is also the financial centre of the United Kingdom - home to the banking and insurance sectors and the headquarters of many international companies. Visit traditional institutions like the Bank of England and Stock Exchange within the Square Mile and marvel at the modern architecture in Canary Wharf where Canada Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Europe, is situated.

"I chose TVU because they offered the exact course I wanted to study but London itself was another big reason to come to study Advertising here. TVU's excellent location and public transport links make it a great place to live. "
